Careless Couture Privacy Policy
Last updated: Whenever we felt like it.
Welcome to Careless Couture — where we take your privacy just seriously enough to keep the lawyers from hyperventilating. By using our site, you agree to let us collect a reasonable (read: potentially unreasonable) amount of your personal info, because that’s just how the internet works now.
What We Collect
-
Your name, email, address, and probably your shoe size if you accidentally tell us.
-
Your browsing habits, because targeted ads are creepy and effective.
-
The weird little details you didn’t think mattered — like how long you stared at that one shirt before closing the tab in shame.
How We Use It
-
To fulfill your order and send you way too many emails you’ll pretend you didn’t see.
-
To stalk your online activity (legally) so we can serve you ads for stuff you almost bought at 2 a.m.
-
To occasionally share with “trusted partners” — which is corporate-speak for “people who give us money.”
Sharing Your Info
We may “share” your data in ways that are totally fine (according to us). This might include advertisers, shipping carriers, or that one sketchy analytics company whose logo looks like it was made in MS Paint. If this bothers you, feel free to shout “OPT OUT!” into the void, or email us at carelesscouture@gmail.com. We’ll pretend to read it.
Cookies (Not the Fun Kind)
We use cookies to track you — not in a romantic way, but in a we-know-what-you-clicked-last-summer way. You can block them, but then our site might break, and we’ll blame you.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
-
Access the data we keep on you (spoiler: it’s boring).
-
Ask us to delete it (lol, okay).
-
Opt out of targeted advertising (but then you’ll just get untargeted advertising, which is even worse).
To exercise your rights, send us an email. We might even respond.
Security
We use industry-standard security, which is basically the equivalent of locking the door but leaving the window open.
Policy Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post it here and act like you definitely read it.
